Ginkgo bonsai
Mike writes:
"It started out as a Ginkgo stump dug up from a landscape.
I acquired it
from a bonsai nursery in Los Angeles in 1989.
In 1990, I was
in a Masahiko Kimura workshop and we did power tool carving on the trunk.
Since that time,
it has grown several "trees" from around the base to give it it's present
appearance.
Height from
the pot rim is about 33 inches."
